The Federal University Ndufu Alike Ikwo’s (FUNAI) FUNAI Igbo Cultural Day festival is supposedly an annual event which provides ample opportunities for Igbo cultural celebration and re-assertion. It also provides the platform for the revival of Igbo cultural heritage and core values for which the Igbo are known. Some of these values include resilience, hard work, good name.
On the 1st of June, 2017, FUNAI held her maiden Igbo cultural day festival. Members of 2017 planning committee include Mrs Ann Nwankwo, Dr Francis Ofoegbu, Ms Ngozi Edeagu, Mr Sylvanus Oko and Dr Arua Omaka.
